Smalltalk and the TIOBE index

However this years’ index show Smalltalk is back at a reasonable 37th place. From the ranking it is not clear what the move is, and I was unable to find the TIOBE index of last year to compare with:

Interestingly enough btw is the first place of C (yes: C)! And with the rising of Objective-C and C++, and the lowering of Java I wouldn’t be surprised if next year we would see the top three occupied by the C language family.
